The
Director of Bands at Dutchtown
Middle School is Mr.
Richard Bresowar. Mr. Bresowar holds
a Bachelor of Applied Music Degree from Louisiana State
University, as well
as a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, also from LSU. He graduated in August 2003 with a
Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from LSU.
Mr. Bresowar currently serves as District
Director for District IV on the board of the Louisiana Music Educator’s
Association, and is a member of LMEA, MENC, and Phi Beta Mu international
honorary band fraternity.
Mr. Bresowar has been Band Director
at Brusly High
School, Brusly Middle School, Broadmoor
High School, and Port Allen
High School. He is
originally from the Birmingham, Alabama area, where he graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School. He has a wife, Mary,
and 4 children, Rebecca LeBlanc, Margaret, Claire, Joseph, and a grandson,
Samuel..
