Louisiana Music Educator’s Association District IV Website We will be posting information here that is pertinent to the District IV Area. You are a member of District IV if you are a music educator, and member of MENC, have paid your Louisiana dues (click on the link to the left to join), and you teach in the following parishes: East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Point Coupee, West Baton Rouge, West Feliciana Parishes and the area east of the Mississippi River in Ascension and St. James Parishes. Others in surrounding areas may participate in District IV events if eligible and have the permission of the District Director. Date Change for LMEA District Instrumental Festival. Due to LEAP testing date change, Instrumental Large Ensemble Festival will now be on March 10-12, 2010. This will still be held a Woodlawn High School. Please plan accordingly. Entry forms for both vocal and instrumental festivals should be postmarked by February 5^th. This group administers the District IV Honor band. Officers are: Joseph Nassar, President David Holland, Vice President Patti Roussel, Treasurer Eddie Hirst, Secretary Richard Bresowar, Past President Joey Nassar, the incoming president of the District IV Band Director’s Association has a message for you if you have not participated in the District IV Honor Band.
