ensemble Festival. This will
be at Right click and select save target as to save on your computer. You then print them out and mail the form with the check to Sherry Shelton. This is also on the Large Ensemble Festival page. This is what was discussed/ planned at
the Spring Vocal meeting. August 11 (Mon.) 6:30 PM District IV Directors meeting Catholic High August 25 - deadline for 1st round audition application - sheet given out by Steve that must be used August 29 - Women's, Jr. High and Elem. All State audition postmark date Sept. 5 - Women's, Jr. High and Elem. All State receive by date Sept. 6 - Women's, Jr. High and Elem. All State audition judging Sept. 13 - 1st round auditions for District IV Sept.
16, 23, 30 - District Honor Choir rehearsals (maybe 6:30-8:30 PM Oct. 6 - District Honor Choir rehearsal at First Baptist 6:30-8:30 PM Oct. 7 - DHC rehearsal at FBC 8:00-2:30 CONCERT that night 7:00 PM Oct. 11 - 2nd round auditions - Place????? We'll find out! Oct. 16-18 - Fall Vocal Conference/Women's, Jr. High and Elem. All State Choirs meet Nov. 20-22????? - LMEA/Mixed HS All State Choir meets All Parish Choir - dates TBA Mar. 11-13 - District IV Large Ensemble Festival (Solo and Ensemble dates as desired by directors) (April 1-3, 6-7 LEAP testing) Week of April 27 - State Choral Festival - Nachitoches Jude Wilson has audition learning CDs available for all 3 choirs on one CD. heyjude@bellsouth.net ($15, I think) Go to the District Large Ensemble Festival Information page for more information.
